Do you have a jewellery dream?
Sometimes it's not necessary to start from scratch - we can take one of our existing designs and mould it to say exactly your History. We call it Customised: A personal customisation where we play with stones, metals, surfaces and details until the jewellery feels just right. Small or big changes - no matter what, we end up with a piece of jewellery that is made for you and your style.
When we customise a piece of jewellery, you can play with many different options:
Together we find the combination of details that suits you perfectly. Karin then creates a beautiful drawing so you can see your custom-made version before we get started.
The entire process typically takes between 6 and 10 weeks, from idea and design meeting to finished jewellery.
Here you can explore some of the jewellery we have customised the most.
They started as an existing design - but with customer requests/ideas, small (or big), they have evolved into something completely unique.
Some of them have even transformed so much that they themselves became completely new designs... which have since been further customised. It's a bit of a jewellery adventure that never really ends.
Cumulus circles have often been decorated with small spheres and sparkling diamonds - a combination that gives a light and playful look.
In image 2, you can see a rather nice and simple customisation where the swirl has simply been replaced by a closed setting with a larger diamond.
In picture 3, on the other hand, the customers have gone all in: she has added a glowing ruby, extra spheres and small diamonds - on a ring with the same rough surface as his. The ring is almost transformed into a completely different piece of jewellery - although the basic shape is still the same.
Our Dragonling is often customised with a small "treasure" - and it can be made in countless ways, all of which make the little dragonling a little more personalised. Stones, colours and details vary, and while the idea of gold beads and a gemstone is popular, no two have ever been the same. Each one bears a clear mark of its owner's wishes. The little Dragonling has even been given a new life and has been customised into Ring.
Elven Tales has proven to be a true multi-talent.
The shape of these earrings magically has just the right curve to be included in all sorts of fun things - including our Elven Tales Necklace.
But even as earrings on their own, they have been through a lot of customisation, as you can see below. And as the icing on the cake, they can be created both "standing" and "lying" as can be seen in pictures 1 & 2.
Sometimes we end up with a design that is a bit of a mix.
It may be based on one - or even two - of our existing pieces of jewellery, but we change the basic shape so much that it can no longer be called customised. Yet it is also not a full uniquewhere we start from scratch.
We call this creative grey area "at frankensteine": For example, we can take parts from one piece of jewellery and transfer them to another, change the course of a spiral or completely replace one of the basic shape's supporting elements.
It's more time-consuming work than “just” customising, which is why a hallmarked piece of jewellery is also a slightly more expensive process.
Nanaya is the mother of several of our bestsellers - In fact, it has led to several other popular pieces of jewellery. First, it was Frankensteined to give it a longer "beak" and without the little balls, which is how Inanna.
Inanna later evolved into Bubbling Inanna - and then to Folha, where the "trunk" was replaced with a blade and the swivel was moved further down.
Do you have an idea that is unlike anything we've ever done before? Then we can create a 100% unique piece of jewellery For you.
We sketch out your dream, and sometimes we realise that the design could make others happy too. In that case, we ask if we can take a mould - and then you get the very first mould with an engraved 1 number and a certificate proving that your jewellery is the original.
Here is the cocktail ring "Primavera", of which there is only one in the entire world.
